Map 1: Europe + Japan

Last week was one of the most active weeks in European Smash since quarantine, as 10 tournaments of at least 50 players took place in Europe, including two of at least 100 entrants.
The largest took place in Liège, Belgium, where France was able to win the day behind
, who took out Germany's
and France's
to win the 123-entrant bracket at Vulcan. Perhaps the most shocking result of the week came at Dojo #7 in Créteil, France, where
was able to take the 101-entrant bracket over
, who switched from the Marth to the Wario after getting reset in Grand Finals, but was unable to stop Raflow even with his main.






Additionally, Japan held its first qualifying tournament of the month, Seibu Attack #8, a 192-entrant bracket that was the second-biggest in the entire world this week, trailing only Canadian major Pinnacle.
was able to win yet another big event, although this time Zackray
was absent, DQing out of the event. Still, ProtoBanham emerged atop an incredible collection of talent, with PGRU players like

falling even before top 12. In second was

Three other American events managed to cross the 100-entrant mark this week. At Home Sweet Home 2 in Birmingham, Alabama,

to take the 141-entrant bracket. At Sixty Six Games in Normal, Illinois,

to win a 110-entrant bracket. And in Portland, Oregon,
won the 106-entrant Big Porch 4 over

Six more events cracked the 75-entrant barrier. In Skokie, Illinois,
resumed his domination of Chicago with a win at the 93-entrant Ignition #238, taking out

. At SMASHADELPHIA 2021 in Oaks, Pennsylvania,

to win the 92-entrant bracket. In Laurel, Maryland at The Grind,
